Josh Learned the Trade as a Kid on the Crew

Tree work runs in Josh's family. He grew up around his family's own tree service and started learning the trade at 12 years old — loading brush, running ropes, and watching how a big tree comes down without touching the roof.
By 16 he was the crew's fix-everything guy: climbing, rigging, chainsaw work, chipping and equipment repair. Those years on the ground and in the canopy are why he reads a tree before he ever fires a saw.
He built True Tree Solutions so homeowners could get the kind of care his own family would want — trees that lift a property's look and value, and stay safe and enjoyable for years. The jobs are bigger now: cranes, lakeshore estates, HOA campuses. The standard is the same one he picked up at 12.
Josh has held ISA certification since 2011 and keeps it current with 30 hours of continuing education every three years, because tree science keeps moving — new findings on decay, wind failure and pruning. That is the knowledge behind every plan he hands you.

ISA Certified Arborist on Staff
Every True Tree Solutions job is scoped, rigged and supervised by an ISA Certified Arborist — the tree-care credential that takes years of hands-on field experience to qualify for, a comprehensive exam to pass, and continuing education to keep.
Earned, Not Bought
ISA Certified Arborists prove years of field work, then pass a comprehensive exam covering tree biology, identification, pruning, cabling, pests, soil and safety.
Recertified Every Three Years
The credential only stays current with 30 hours of continuing education every three years, so the arborist walking your property is up to date on modern rigging and removal practice.
Plans Before the Crane Moves
Site assessment, drop zones, rigging plan and protection for turf, decks and utilities are set by the certified arborist — not improvised on the day.
Documentation You Can Hand Over
Written scope, insurance details and job photos formatted for insurance claims, HOA boards and municipal permits.
